Approximate Sizes when Loose and when Fully Tightened
When fully loosened the 4" hose clamps reach to about 4-7/16" and when tightened all the way the close down to about 3-7/16" in diameter. Keep this in mind when planning your projects. Measure your openings outside diameter to be sure it will work with these hose clamps.
